The Telegraph (por James Badcock, Madrid):

Five Mexican children tortured and killed a six-year-old boy in the state of Chihuahua before burying the body and keeping their crime a secret.

The five children, aged between 15 and 11, tied up the victim's hands and feet before beating and suffocating him in what the perpetrators said had started out as a game, the public prosecutor said.

The boy's dead body was found buried next to a stream in Laderas de San Guillermo near the city on Saturday, two days after his family had reported him missing.

When agents from Mexico's Missing Persons Unit began questioning the children who were the last people to be seen with the boy, "their stories became contradictory and they ended up confessing how they had taken his life and buried him", according to the prosecutor's report.
